Ayurvedic Medicine, commonly known as Ayurveda, is the oldest known healing system for the human body.

Being originated in India, it is said to be around 5000 years old and is an effective and natural technique of healing. Ayurveda is established on the faith that a body should be healthy with the body and mind having a delicate balance. There are three doshas in the Vedic history, called Vata, Pitta and Kapha. A human body gets disease and illness because of an imbalance in these three energies. This is where Ayurveda helps people to have a balanced and healthy life without needing any help of modern medicine or surgeries.

People in India have been practising Ayurveda for many years, for healing several diseases and disorders, ranging from digestion problems to infertility. With the complications in modern medicine, people across the world are practising Ayurveda effectively for several benefits that it offers.

Because of imbalance in three energies, the Ayurvedic practitioners use different methods of Ayurveda to bring the balance in the body. They use changes in lifestyle, healthy diet and several other herbal remedies to heal all kinds of disorders in the human body.

According to Ayurvedic medicine, every person has a unique personality and is made of basic elements of the universe- fire, water, air, earth and space.

The three energies are made from the combination of these basic five elements. Space and air combine to form Vata dosha, fire and water combine to form Pitta dosha and water and earth combine to form Kapha Dosha. Because each dosha consists of emotional and physical characteristics, they control different body functions. The practitioners use these doshas to give details of someone’s personality and health issues.
